Description of Taper drill rods:
Make drill rods and drill bits together, then it is integral drill rod. Compared with integral drill rods, taper drill rods (taper drill steels) work with taper drill bits, like integral drill rods, taper drill rods have different length for various application. Because taper drill rods need taper drill bits to work, therefore there are different taper degree, like 7, 11, 12,etc in the world. This depends on customers request. The basic theory is that taper drill rods and taper drill bits must be in the same tapered degree. Then with different design of drill bits, like taper cross bits, taper button bits, taper chisel bits, taper drill rods are used economically and widely in the world. Same as integral drill rods, taper drill bits are hexagonal 19mm or 22mm.
