With carbide buttons hot pressed on bits bodies, taper button bits have a very good drilling performance and life time. So currently such drill bits are the most popular in the world. Basically different diameters and taper degrees are available, just same as all other taper drill bits. There are short skirt button bits and long skirt button bits according to customers preference . Short skirt button bits means the total height of bits are 55 mm around, while long skirt button bits means the total height of bits are 78mm around.
