Tapered chisel bit is one of traditional drill bits with long history in the world, due to its simple production process, they are used widely in the world from the last century. Chisel bits means carbides are chisel type. Like taper drill steels, taper chisel bits have different taper degree according to customers request. And the diameters varies from 20mm to 60mm.According to the total height of taper chisel bits, there are short skirt taper chisel bits and long skirt chisel bits. Usually short skirt means the total height of bits are 50 mm around, while long skirt taper bits are 75mm to 80mm around.
