SINODRILLS 4 Wings Chevron Drag Bits
4 wings chevron drag bits are one piece construction of alloy steel cast with tungsten carbide cutting tips and gauge sides to ensure longer life. It has 4 wings and 4 flushing holes. 4 wings chevron drag bits are more durable and lasting than 3 wings chevron drill bits, because of cutting structure, but will penetrate more slowly. Additionally, 4 wing chevron drag bits are more stable and tend toward drilling a straighter hole.Its flushing hole is incorporated into our design for efficient removal of cuttings.
4 wings chevron drag bits are economical tools when drilling softer geological formations and shallower depths, they are primarily designed for medium to hard formations and are used in areas that contain a lot of rock, such as hard shale, limestone, and tougher gravels, etc. And also chevron drag bits are recommended for drilling in Mining, Exploration, Environmental, Water well, Geo Exchange, etc.

• CNC threaded machining for proper installation &use;
• Forgings are milled to better seat the carbide inserts.
• Select tungsten carbide inserts 5.5mm thick are standard.
• Relief is hand ground behind carbide inserts for maximum performance.
