The Self-Drilling Anchor system features a hollow threaded anchor bar integrated with a sacrificial drill bit. This design enables simultaneous drilling, anchoring, and grouting in one continuous operation, eliminating the need for separate drilling tools. It efficiently penetrates loose or fractured strata, with grout injected through the hollow bar to secure the anchor and enhance stability in slope reinforcement or tunnel support projects.
Hollow anchor bar is the body of a self-drilling anchor, as a hollow steel tube with an outer round thread, hollow anchor has the sacrificial anchor bit connected at one side, plate and nut connected at the other; two hollow anchor bars could be connected together via a coupling, for duties that requiring longer anchors.
• Stable quality;
• The thread is compatible with ISO and other international standards.
• Good mechanical performance.
Applications of geotechnical engineering techniques span diverse construction scenarios. Pre-supporting systems, like pipe-roof or soil nailing, stabilize excavation faces to prevent collapse during tunnel or basement works. Micropiling serves as a vital foundation underpinning method, installing small-diameter piles to transfer additional loads to deeper stable strata, ideal for retrofitting old structures or addressing settlement issues. Slope anchorage employs tendons or bolts grouted into rock/soil to reinforce slopes, controlling landslides by resisting shear forces. These techniques ensure structural safety and engineering feasibility in complex geological conditions.
